Good question Sue. I could not find an official answer from the Weck people on that. I have never stacked mine, but that doesn’t mean it would not be okay. I just have always used a single layer. I do know that if you use a Weck jar in a pressure canner, you need 3 clips instead of 2 on each jar. That is because of the added pressure.
